LHI is a studio comprised of experienced team members who make the often-complicated process and details of interior design a joyful and uncomplicated experience for clients. From renovations to a full design/build, our commitment to a collaborative process with architects, contractors, and craftsmen guarantee our clients excellent service. We stand by our work and enjoy building relationships with our clients that often lead to multiple projects with them, their family, and friends.


IN OUR INITIAL CONSULTATIONS, we get to know our new clients, their unique identities, and the goals they hope to achieve. In these meetings, we determine the following:

  • Scope and timeline for the project
  • Client objectives for the project
  • Desired design, style, and budget
  • Functionality of the space, review of architectural plans
  • Inventory of any current pieces that are important to the client
  • Presentation and review of the contract


WE CONTINUE OUR collaborative relationship throughout the design process with several conceptual and detailed design meetings. Working to balance the overall vision of the space with our clients’ tastes, needs, and budget is paramount in the design phase. This process can take a minimum of six weeks depending on the scope of the project. The design phase results in a final presentation where all the selections are discussed. The client is presented with pricing and signs off on all the approved estimates. Upon completion and approval of the detailed design phase, all purchases are finalized.


IN THIS FINAL PHASE we guide our clients through the procurement and execution of their project. All orders are processed and tracked. Deliveries are inspected and any damaged items are addressed. Lighting and wallpaper are delivered and installed. An “install date” is scheduled to deliver all furniture, rugs, and accessories. Artwork is then hung, and accessories are arranged on site. Any deficiencies are identified and rectified. Upon completion, our client is presented with a care manual ensuring proper maintenance for their new furnishings.
